 Asian elephants lives in south and south east Asia. There are now fewer than 50000 left in the world.. About 57%  of them live in India. They are the biggest animals live on land. A grown-up Asia elephant is about 3.2 meters tall and weigh more than 5t. They like live in the worm and moist deep forests. They like walking in the forests. So every day they run about 18-20hours. And they spend only about 2-4 hours for sleeping. 
 Now there are about 300 Asian elephants in our county. Government（政府） is doing its best to protect pandas from being harmed or killed.
