Are you trying to decide between beaver builder and elementor as the page builder for your gutter cleaners calgary your wordpress sites?

these are two of the best wordpress page builder plugins, so you've definitely narrowed down your arsenal to a few quality options.

But, especially since both elementor and beaver builder are popular, high quality and perfectly optimal tools, how do hosts choose between them a great choice for your existing portal?

I'm going to help you answer such a difficult question by studying these tools in detail. By the end of this review, you should have a pretty good idea of which page builder is best for your personal situation! Elementor featuresdetailed feature comparisonperformance testsfree versionspremium version pricesthird-party extensionscommunity support/learning resourceselementor and beaver builder: which one you need use?Final thoughts on beaver builder and elementorbeaver builder and elementor feature overview

To start our comparison of beaver builder and elementor, take a look at the options these two plugins publish . You'll be able to see a good number of these functions in more detail, but i think you should start with a primitive one:

In general, elementor has more in the base than beaver builder: more styling directions. , More interface options, more templates, etc.

However, i don't think it's necessary to automatically assume that "more" means "better". Don't get me wrong, i think elementor is best for many of humanity because of these subtleties.

Minimal, though, many don't crave or need "more" - they just want the core of the function made really well and in a light package. In my experience, they prefer beaver builder over elementor.

However, i'm getting ahead of myself, as i'll talk about this much later.

Detailed feature comparison

Now let's take a look at how elementor and beaver builder compare in terms of editing interfaces, style/design options, responsive design, templates, theme . Development and other manipulations.

Editing interfaces

Both elementor and beaver builder offer a cost-effective and trouble-free editing experience.

speaking in other words, the interface that you choose depends on your imagination. None of which is considered ideal in its essence, and you will find some who prefer one or the other.

If i had to make a few important remarks, i would say the following:

- Elementor provides helper interface tools to speed up your workflow, including support for right-clicking and making it easier to copy/paste components and styles.- Beaver builder provides helper perspectives for customizing the interface. Layout.

Let's look at both options so you can see firewood in action.

Thanks to the elementor interface, you get a large preview of your design on the right, as well as a fixed a sidebar on the left, where you can add new material - and manage settings. If someone eventually needs a fullscreen preview, you can collapse the sidebar:

To add widgets, you can drag them from the sidebar. To edit the text of the widget, you can click and type in the blog text. To improve its settings, you have the option to click on it to open its settings in the sidebar.

There are tons of nice interface features that elementor offers, but not the beaver builder.

First, there is support for right-clicking, which is not available in the beaver builder. In elementor, you have the ability to right-click on any component to open up some options. The most useful options are the ability to copy/paste entire widgets or just the styles of them:

Another useful feature is the elementor navigator, which gives you a general overview of your page structure. .You can click on an element to quickly open its settings, and also rename it so that it is easier for everyone to see what is happening:

Elementor in addition provides an undo / redo function or a detailed fairy tale log for undo changes:Beaver builder's interface layout is more customizable than elementor, but it lacks some useful elementor tools, one of which is right-click support.

You get a constant width preview of your design with the beaver builder top bar:

To add content, you can click the plus sign to expand the menu:

To edit the settings for a row, column, or module, you will get the option to click on it to expand the popup. This popup is draggable and resizable:

If you like a fixed interface, you can drag the popup to either side to base the fixed sidebar on the left or right:

This flexibility is good for everything as it allows you to customize the interface according to your needs, which will be an advantage of beaver builder over elementor.

However, beaver builder lacks right click support mouse button. , Which makes it difficult to copy/paste content. You get the ability to duplicate modules, and there is a way to copy styles from a module's settings area, however it's not as efficient as elementor because you have to open the full module's settings area whenever you plan to copy and paste the style.

Beaver builder gives you an overview of an interface that resembles the elementor navigator, although you don't have the ability to rename elements:

You also earn history and journal changes, for example elementor.

Style/design options

Next, let's take an interest in the space design options that you get inside each editor.

In terms of core design features, both plugins give you products to control colors, spacing, typography, and more.

However, elementor provides you with already experienced design options, especially if you upgrade to elementor pro. For example, elementor pro allows you to use cool motion effects, use custom positioning, and more. This is an important reason why i think many web designers prefer the elementor beaver builder.

Elementor allows you to customize the style and decor rules for any section, column or widget. These requirements are divided into 3 tabs. Here you can get an approach to basic settings such as colors and typography, as well as more advanced settings for spacing and other effects:

As i mentioned at the very beginning, elementor usually gives you more design flexibility . Here are three mostfamous] examples where elementor goes beyond beaver builder:

Motion effects - allow you to insert cool visuals and scroll effects into your interior - learn more herecustom positioning - gives you have pixel-perfect control over the placement of elements using absolute or relative positioning - learn more herecustom css for specific segments gives you the ability to add custom css to individual sections, columns or widgets (whereas beaver builder only allows you to add custom css for a page or categories, for individual details from)

For the design of the entire site, elementor comes with its own design system, which allows you to customize the colors and typography of the site.

these concern site-wide settings work like css variables: if you update the setting, it is able to automatically update in all instances on your site (when you don't manually override the default value to prefer your own color):

Note that all original designs here require elementor pro. The free version of elementor is still quite functional; it just won't give you the most unique features.

Beaver builder does a great job of both common and rare basic tasks. However, using it does not offer the advanced design options that elementor pro has (which i detailed above).

However, a huge number of users probably do not need motion effects or custom positioning. So while elementor may be able to give you more, it may not matter much to consumers if you're just creating a simple layout and/or not a web designer.

Like elementor, the beaver builder gives the visitor the chance to control style/design options at row, column or module height. These settings are also divided into 3 tabs:

You can also add color presets to help visitors quickly apply consistent colors.

However, you cannot use it's like a special css variable like elementor allows. So you can't immediately update a preset and automatically propagate that change to the whole site:

Responsive design

Elementor and beaver builder. Create responsive designs by default, which means that all projects will work regardless of what device the user is using.

They also provide you with auxiliary tools to work with responsive design. We have a lot in common, so i won't try to compare them here.

Both elementor and beaver builder allow you to:

– Open responsive previews to see see how your interior looks on multiple devices- adjust spacing, size, and other settings based on the user's device- hide specific rows, columns, or content items based on the user's device-set up adaptive breakpoints (elementor is a little stronger here, as it allows you to add any number of custom breakpoints, while beaver builder only allows you to set breakpoints for tablets and mobile phones.)

Here's elementor's responsive editing mode:

And here is the responsive editing mode in beaver builder:

Templates

Even though both elementor and beaver builder give you any the tools you need to make intricate designs anew, putting all these pieces together can be tricky when you're never an experienced designer. To help, both plugins are made with whatever kind of templates you get to use as a starting point.

However, if you value templates, elementor is a definite winner as it provides you with much more templates and even though design is subjective, i think elementor templates look nicer and consultants cover more niches as well).

Elementor also provides you with all web service template sets which beaver builder does not offer.

At the top level, elementor gives you 2 types of templates:

Pages are full page templatesblocks are catalog templates you you can add multiple blocks per tab to organize the whole design)

Elementor also offers web service kits which are multiple page template kits to help you provide a complete website. For example, you finish one template before the home page, another for the contact page, another for the services page, and so on.

Currently, elementor contains over 80 site sets, although you need elementor. Pro to get it. View them here.

You also have the option to save personal designs like page templates or blocks so you can quickly reuse them later. After all, there is a great 3rd party portal called wunderwp that allows you to keep custom elementor templates in existence and re-post all suggestions across all your elementor sites.

Finally, some of the elementor features we will discuss . Have their own templates. This includes theme, woocommerce and popup banner builders. For example, if you work in the popup banner builder, you will also get a set of popup templates.

Beaver builder offers two template options:

Strings - templates for specific page sections (they can be combined to form a whole page design)pages are full page templates divided into landing and content pages

however, as i mentioned earlier, the choice is not particularly long and diverse , as suggested by elementor.

You can also save your native lash designs as templates for easy reuse. Later.

What's interesting about templates is that the authors of the beaver builder mod today launched their assistant pro plugin, which helps keep beaver builder templates in existence and reuse them across multiple sites. Because assistant pro also works with elementor (and similar builders), it must be checked even if you choose elementor.

Creating a theme

Although elementor, and beaver builder started as purely page builder plugins, however, they have both added full theme builder functionality since then.

When creating themes, it is possible to exploit the visual drag and drop design to customize theme templates, including yours:

- Header- footer- single (template that individual posts, pages, and custom post types use)- archive (template that lists your sms on a page or posts from a custom post type)

Here's the main benefit:

Creating pages: you create individual posts or profiles. You can save your design as a template to reuse the tea, but you have to manually apply the design wherever you want to use it. Theme creation: you create the actual template designs for people who will be automatically used by your posts and profiles. For example, if you write a new post on a page, the video that you add in the regular wordpress editor will automatically be displayed in your theme's creation template. You can also create header and footer templates.

Both plugins also support dynamic content from custom fields, which means that you can populate your templates with content from custom fields that you add via of these plugins, like as advanced custom fields (acf), toolbox, modules, etc.

With the elementor pro theme builder, you get a dedicated interface for driving the theme template parts:

When creating a theme template, you will use the same visual editor. The only difference is that you get dynamic composition widgets to create your own design.

For example, if you create a post template, you will get widgets to insert post title, post content, author, etc. E.:

You can always use the dynamic tags feature to insert dynamic content from your site or a custom field you added.

you will be able to use dynamic emails to fill text, images, links, etc. Which provides great opportunities for creating websites with personalized content:

Before publishing the template, you will get a great chance to choose to apply it in general for the site or as times for one content, for example. A specific category of blog posts:

To add theme creation to beaver builder, you are interested in purchasing the official beaver themer extension. More about pricing later.

One thing that and another thing about beaver themer is that using it does not provide full compatibility with a variety of themes, different from elementor pro.

You are given the ability to create single and archive templates with even the most complex theme, however you will only be able to create header or footer templates if your theme is compatible with beaver themer.

To account for this you can use the official beaver builder theme or common questions like astra, generatepress and genesis - exhaustive list here.

After creating the template you can tame the display conditions to control where you decide to display this template. Beaver builder is really powerful here - in addition to targeting content, you can also target:

User behavior, for example, login status, buyer role , etc.Publication details, one of which is a title or a custom fieldwordpress conditional tags

These beaver themer detailed rules are better than elementor pro, although for most sites, no such precision is needed:From there you can launch the beaver builder interface to create the template. Just like in elementor, you will be able to use the normal editor along with some special themer modules:

Beaver themer also allows you to insert information from custom fields that you added using plugins like acf:Other noteworthy features

Besides the food that our team discussed above, each constructor has certain unique features. Let's take a look at them.

One of elementor's newest features is the popup banner builder. With the popup banner maker, you can use the same and similar elementor interface to create unique types of popup banners, including modal popups, notification bars, full screen placeholders, slides, and other holiday products:

Before you place popup, you can apply detailed targeting and triggering rules to control where and when it should appear:

Overall, i would say that the elementor popup builder completely eliminates the need for a third party popup plugin .However, one of the missing features is that porn bunny doesn't include built-in a/b testing or analytics.

However, this is a very valuable feature that beaver builder doesn't make up for. Suggestion.

If you build client sites, one feature that everyone will love about beaver builder is its white labeling. Basically, it allows you to replace all beaver builder branding with new and old, which allows the visitor to give their customers a more branded website. Elementor does not offer white labeling.

Another niche where beaver builder excels elementor is wordpress multisite support. Elementor supports multisite, but you want an active license key for every single network site, which is a bit of a budget inconvenience.

Beaver builder, on the other hand, only requires one license key, which means you you can manage your entire multi-site network at no extra cost.

Benchmarks

Every time you use a wordpress page builder, you will always sacrifice at least a small part performance compared to using the native wordpress editor. However, some builders are better than others, so i find it useful to compare the performance of elementor and beaver builder.

To test this step, i created an identical test page for each builder. The sites use the same and technically the same theme (our lightweight sydney theme) and are equivalent widgets/modules.

For my elementor test site, i ran two different honesty tests:

1. A test where i enabled elementor's speed-focused experiments to strengthen asset and css loading, which i suggest you do on your next site2. Test with default configuration (deactivated experiments)

Here is the weight of each page for the whole page (including theme):

In general, beaver builder is a priority in terms of view of the finished optimization. However, i don't think the difference is that important when you follow other best practices for improving wordpress performance.

For example, when i added wp rocket to elementor's personal test site, watch the numbers drop:

Read my wp rocket review to see why it so effective.

Basically, although beaver builder is a little lighter compared to the box, you can still build fast-loading sites with elementor if you use best practices to improve performance. For that reason, i don't think performance should be the biggest factor in any solution.

Free versions

Both elementor and beaver builder offer free versions. At wordpress.Org. However, there is no comparison between the free variations; elementor is the clear winner.

The free version of elementor is a full-featured plugin that can be used in many different ways. I am happy to use the free version of elementor on enterprise resources and we also use it to run our sydney theme starter sites.

While the free version of beaver builder is functional for the interface, it has a very limited set of modules, which makes skinali impractical for creating complex designs.

In general, if you're specifically interested in a free tool and don't want to spend money, elementor's free version is much stronger.

Premium pricing

In terms of premium pricing, there is no clear winner between elementor and beaver. Builder, since either one is more affordable in some situations.

Let's talk about cost first, and then i'll compare prices in a sense.

Prices for elementor pro

Elementor pro is an add-on for the main elementor plugin that provides you with a connection to the following:

- About 50 new widgets- theme builder and fast woocommerce builder- popup builder- more design options- more templates

Elementor pro provides five different plans. The main difference between the plans is the number of sites where you can use elementor pro, but the higher plans also get access to more resource kit templates and vip support:

Basic - $49 at one sitepro - $99 for 3 sites not described in the main pricing table; you have to click on the link, i've highlighted it below.)Expert - $199 for 25 sitesstudio - $499 for 100 sitesagency - $999 for 1,000 sites

To continue using the pro modules and receive support and updates, you must renew your license annually. If your license becomes inactive, your existing elementor pro projects will continue to work. However, you can never add new pro modules to your own projects without an active license.

Beaver builder pricing

The beaver builder premium version gives you to the final set of modules, plus more templates and some other extra features.

Beaver builder offers three different pricing plans, but most people only want the standard $99 plan.

+> Unlike elementor, all beaver builder plans allow for countless sites.

I think the only reasonable reasons for giving you a higher plan are:

1. You will need multisite support (pro plan).2. You need a white label (agency blueprint).
  • I don't think the beaver builder theme is the most valuable theme as there are so many high quality lightweight base themes these days. Unlike elementor pro, beaver builder does not include theme creation in the main plugin. Instead, you need to purchase the beaver themer extension to add theme creation.

Beaver themer costs $147 to use on any number of sites.

So there you have it what individuals will pay:

Create accounts on unlimited sites - $99create themes on any size of sites - $246

To continue to receive support and updates after the first year, you must renew your license. However, beaver builder offers a 40% discount, which allows the visitor to save money.

Elementor pro and beaver builder prices

As i mentioned at dawn, elementor pro and beaver builder are more affordable in different circumstances. There are two factors involved in this:

- How many sites do you plan on using the plugin- should you auto-create a theme

here's how it works:

If you only need page creation (no theme creation):

- Elementor pro is easier for website only ($49). ).- Elementor pro and beaver builder are the same for three sites ($99).- Beaver builder is cheaper over 3 sites ($99 for unlimited).

if you want to create a theme:

- Elementor pro is easier for 25 sites ($49-$199 depending on the number of sites).- “Beaver builder beaver themer” cheaper for more than 25 sites ($246 for any number of sites).

Another consideration is the cost of renewal. After the first year, both plugins require them to renew their license in order to continue receiving support and updates. But, elementor charges full price on renewal while beaver builder gives you 40% discount.

Third party extensions

While elementor and beaver builder are both packed with features in core plugins, they also have active third party extension markets.

With both plugins you can use extensions to add more:
- Widgets/modules- templates- design options- functions

In general, the market for elementor is bigger because it's more popular, but beaver builder still leads the tier when it comes to extensions.

If you'd like to see some examples, we've got there are reports on each:

Best elementor add-onsbest beaver builder add-ons

Community support/learning resources

Both elementor and beaver builder offer official support to customers with a valid license. However, official support is more about resolving issues with the plugin (such as bugs) rather than just learning how to use it.

In terms of improving your knowledge and skills, you like you will trust the rule through three channels:

- Official developer resources- user communities (sometimes on facebook)- third-party learning resources (for example, blogs or youtube channels) Elementor

Elementor offers dedicated support to all paying customers. Customers with the three cheapest plans (essential, pro, and expert) get responses to requirements by eye in a single day, while studio and agency customers get vip support with responses in less than half an hour. There's also a detailed knowledge base.

If you're willing to take advantage of the community's support paths, you can order responses from the official elementor fb group of over 122,000 members in no time. Or the official forum identified.

Elementor also has its own youtube channel and blog with portals. You too can find a huge number of third party sources.

Beaver builder

Beaver builder offers support to all paid customers. On weekdays, a huge number of questions are answered within a few hours or a maximum working day. However, they do not offer weekend support or festivities in america.

You can also get community support through the three official channels:

Official facebook group with a very 16,000 membersbeaver builder's slack channelofficial community forum

Beaver builder also has an official youtube channel, although the holder is not as active as elementor's channel. You can also find a lot of third party videos or blogs on youtube, although not as many as elementor as beaver builder is less popular.

Elementor or beaver builder: which one to prefer

Now the big question, should you use elementor or beaver builder?

Let's look at a huge number of options, because i think the answer depends on your situation.

The "average" wordpress user

If you're an "average" wordpress user looking for a tool to play on your platform, i think you should start with elementor.

There are several factors by which i recommend elementor as the best idea for real car enthusiasts:

- The free version is very functional; many casual users will be fine with the free version.- Elementor pro is cheaper if you only need a tool for one site or all for a group of sites).- It offers more styling options so you don't have to rely on your own css (great for non-technical people).- You have access to more templates, which means you don't have to start from scratch.- Elementor pro has more features, such as a pop-up banner builder.- Community elementor is larger, which means it's faster to find the help page and learn about elementor.

Web designers

when you're a web designer building client-side modern sites , i think you'll also prefer elementor because it gives you more design options than beaver builder. For example:

- Motion effects- custom positioning- adding css exactly to elements- site-wide design system to ensure design consistency

Basically, you can have more tools to create cool designs.

Web developers

If you are a web developer looking for a visual design tool to simplify your workflows, i think you will probably be happier with the beaver builder.

In my experience, web developers will probably appreciate the beaver builder's focused approach where it does the basic things -really close and maintain stability rather than calgary landscape contractors adding as many features as possible.

Also, from time to time people choose to have fewer features. The "feature" of one adult person happens to be the "bells and whistle" for another if that function is not required.

Beaver builder is also simpler out of the box, which i think many web developers prefer.

+>Builders on a tight budget

So far, i've made recommendations without regard to price. However, for the people involved in the gaming community, price remains a big factor.

So, if money is tight, should you use elementor or beaver builder?

Okay. , First, if any budget is $0, you should definitely use elementor. The free version of elementor is much more powerful than the free version of beaver builder - it's not even close to being necessary.

However, if you're interested in advanced features like theme creation, you should move away from the pro version. In this situation, i advise the following:

Creation of personal sites. If you only communicate on a few of your own sites, elementor pro is likely to be cheaper.Creating client sites. : If you build client sites, the beaver builder will be significantly cheaper, even if you also need to buy a beaver themer.

Final hints on beaver builder and elementor

after all, both elementor and beaver builder are rightfully considered great page builder plugins, so you won't be fooled by using either.

However, there are some notable differences when talking it's about features and pricing. What i tried to highlight in this comparison. These differences can push the customer in one direction or another, depending on the food, what you like and what any budget.
