What is coliving? People who are not related by blood, marriage or others choosing co-living meaning, in which individuals and the collective share resources as well as an intention of living sustainably and harmoniously with each other and the planet.

Coliving is a modern form of shared housing for like-minded individuals to live, play and work together. Coliving being a modern concept loosely extends back nearly a hundred years in the form of tenements yet can be considered linked to much older types of communal living like the longhouse. Its contemporary form has only gained prominence recently as a combination of factors have led to interest in this kind of living space, together with a lack of housing opportunities, the price of independent accommodation and raising finance to buy, plus a growing curiosity about lifestyles not influenced by long-term contracts.
