When individuals hear the language prehistory, many of them think automatically in terms of secrets, conspiracy, cover up's, mystical powers, pseudo science and so on and so forth. However, in this post we will look at Ancient Mysteries in the non bias and other way. Neither pro nor con, but simply in terms of solving them and just what impact this might have on our world and society. In order to do this we must look at those mysteries as what are the really are: Mysteries! No more, nothing less.

First thing we want to do, when examining mysteries, just isn't to pay to much focus on any theories or another far out explanations. We simply use good sense as to what is possible and what not. Just the facts, that it is mystery. Obviously in mainstream archeology, speculation and deduction belongs to the process. However, there it really is based on hard evidence and discoveries. In the following paragraphs we will not too much effort on actually solving any mysteries, but rather we will look at what the effect on society will be, if any of the mysteries will be solved. By solved, we mean either the discovery of unknown, long forgotten methods or processes, or prove beyond a reasonable doubt, that there is simple, right down to earth explanation compared to that mystery. In a few follow up articles, we will look at some individual mysteries in more detail, but for now, we'll deal with the general possible benefits of solving Ancient Mysteries. First, let's examine what kind of "categories" of mysteries are in reality there. Well, the range is a pretty wide one and ranges from medicine, mind body connection, religion and spirituality, construction, transportation to astronomy plus more. So, now the question is, how all this translate into pro or cons for your planet and society? Well, here it is. Take for example the mystery of ancient building techniques. Everyone agrees that the ancient builders used huge stone blocks to create their cities and monuments all over the world. Most of the time in remote regions, where there weren't even any building materials available plus it was also unattainable to grow food for your work force, and the stone blocks had to be transported time for a huge selection of miles to get them to the building site. The disagreement is about the HOW all this was being done. Yes, the archeologist have discovered some evidence that suggest that it was all done with wooden rollers and wooden sledges, pulled by man and the project took decades to perform.. Not to mention the particular stone cutting and fitting.

However, this does not seem to explain all the aspects of those massive construction projects, very well. There might happen to be something else going on, something we're missing. But, as said before, we are not planning to investigate the mysteries themselves, but rather the impact it would have, if any of those alternative technology theories will be proven right. Is it possible to imagine what are the discovery of a new transportation technology would do in order to our society? You can forget about standard fuels guzzling, environment polluting cars, trucks, construction vehicles, rail roads etc. The transportation industry would be revolutionized. Not to mention the instant cleaner air that individuals would be breathing. You have to the stone cutting technology. Forget about blasting of tunnels and roadways, as well as mining for minerals. Roads and tunnels could possibly be cut nicely, neat and smoothly outside the mountains or other terrain. Forget about dust, you can forget blast debris, gentler for the environment and no more rows of heavy equipment like bull dozers or hauling trucks. Also, the surfacing from the roadway would be made easier and faster. Entire new spin-off industries would develop, which would create jobs and investment. What the economy needs. I assume by now it's pretty obvious, the solving of just one ancient mystery could have a great positive effect on our society as well as on our planet as a whole. It would make live on earth so much better. Since there are so many mysteries and secrets on the market, one can only imagine what kind of changes could be brought about. And when it turns out, that those mysteries have simply easy, down to earth, explanations after all? So what! No less than the mystery is solved.
